It`s time to start thinking about Pie!
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s extravaganza will take place on Sunday, August 11th from 1-4pm, and you`re invited to join the fun! Expect a delightful afternoon filled with live music, exciting raffles, and scrumptious pies!
This isn’t just any day; it`s the museum`s most anticipated event of the year, and we need YOU to make it even more spectacular. Our success lies in the hands of brilliant home bakers who generously donate their delicious pies. Every pie sold directly supports the Rokeby Museum.
Would you like to contribute a pie (or a dozen)? 🍰 Simply fill out the brief form below, and I`ll provide you with all the details.
Thank you for being a part of our community, and happy baking! 🥳
Warmest regards,
~Garrett Anderson, Pie Social Coordinator

On this day in 1865, General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX, to read Order No. 3, affirming an end to slavery under the Emancipation Proclamation. This occasion is celebrated as Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of ending slavery in the United States.
In celebration of this day, Rokeby Museum is free to visit. We welcome you to explore the exhibitions and historic house.
