LGBTQ+ History!
Come learn the story of Harvey Milk and the Pride Flag. We’ll explore questions like what flags are for, what it means to be proud of who you are, and why it is important to love ourselves and others because of our differences. Activities include read-a-loud and flag-making.
Rokeby offers FREE, anti-bias-themed family storytimes on third Thursdays during the summer. Grab a blanket and spread out under the locust trees (rain location available). Admission to Rokeby is free on Tuesdays after 1:00 p.m. Come early and explore our racial learning children’s room, exhibits, grounds, and story walk. Learning themes are designed for children ages 3-7, but babies, toddlers, and everyone are welcome.
