Agricultural Artifacts
Rokeby was a farm for most of the 170 years the Robinson lived here, and the historic farm buildings display artifacts from the sheep, dairy, and orchard years.
The small creamery, for example, is home to milk pans, a churn, and butter worker along with tongs for moving the ice needed to keep milk cool. The granary houses a grain cradle, flail, corn sheller, and fanning mill. The toolshed is well stocked with implements — axes and numerous saws along with the grindstone that kept them sharp, drills, augers, planes, and measuring devices.
